Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando is the first time ever the famous Sesame Street neighborhood was recreated in brilliant detail and is also the largest Sesame Street land inside any SeaWorld park. The six-acre attraction project, a total renovation of the former Shamu’s Happy Harbor children’s area, saw familiar rides transformed into immersive play areas, vibrantly themed rides, and one-of a kind interactive experiences based on the long-running children’s show. Work included the construction of four new highly themed buildings, the renovation of two existing buildings, the re-location of an existing ride, all new hardscape, landscape, and ride theming for six rides. Guests can spot many iconic facades such as Big Bird’s Stoop, Mr. Hooper’s Store, Big Bird’s Nest, and Abby Cadabby’s Garden. Lastly, no visit to Sesame Street is complete without an award-winning celebration. With colorful floats that parade down Sesame Street with recognizable characters in tow, the entire area transforms into a Sesame Street themed block party and parade multiple times a day.
